We are excited to offer a full range of classes for all ages and levels in all genres. Including Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Gymnastics as well as a Pre-K and Preschool Classes!!
New this year, we are offering Adult Stretch, Strengthening and Conditioning Classes on Monday and Tuesday nights with Miss Wolfe. These classes will be for Adults ages 18 and up! Monday's Class is 8:00-8:30pm and Tuesday's Class is 8:30-9:00pm, the cost is $34 per installment payment for one class once per week, or we are offering both classes for just $50 per installment payment, that is 2 classes per week. Remember when registering you will pay 2 installment payments. The remaining 8 installment payments will be due on the 1st of each month, October through May. "Online Registration" button, complete the form, hit summit registration and then log into the parent portal to register and confirm your child's enrollment.

Last year we began offering a Parent Portal. In our parent portal you will be able to register for classes, view your child's schedule, pay online and much more!!

Below we have highlighted our recital classes to help you select the correct class/classes for your dancer. Should you have any questions please feel free to email us at jdcdanceoffice@gmail.com.
All Classes are on a first come first serve basis. If you’re new to JDC, please click the link below to be redirected to our registration portal. Once you complete and submit your registration form. You will need to login into the parent portal to complete and pay for your classes. Your child will not be considered enrolled until you log into the parent portal and complete the enrollment.
Below are highlights of our recital classes to help you choose the best class/classes for your dancer:
Preschool Classes, we will be offering two different nights of preschool classes (ages 2.5 to 4-year-old):
Monday 4:30-5:30 with Ms. Kasie
or
Thursday 5:00-6:00 with Ms. Kasie
For fall preschool, you can register for Ballet ONLY or Tap ONLY, or you can register your child for both ballet/tap. The 1 hour ballet/tap combo class is qualified for the 2-way combo discount.
We will also be offering Pre-K Classes on Saturday mornings for ages 3-6. These classes will be taught by Miss Maddy Spain as follows:
Saturday Ballet 9:00 – 9:30am
Saturday Tap 9:30 – 10:00am
Saturday Hip-Hop 10:00 – 10:30am
For our Pre-K Classes you can register for one, two or all three. If you decide to register for more than one class there is a discount for each additional class. We have our 2-Way Combo discount or our 3-Way Combo discount. Please see our pricing in our registration portal for details.
For preschooler who have turned 5 or will be turning 5 as well as any 5–7-year-old beginner/intermediate level dancers we have the following classes for you:
Monday 5:30-6:00 Recital Ballet with Ms. Kasie (ages 5-7)
Monday 6:00-6:30 Recital Tap with Ms. Kasie (ages 5-7)
Monday 6:30-7:00 Recital Jazz with Miss Wolfe (ages 5-7)
Wednesday 6:00-6:30 Recital Ballet with Ms. Kasie (ages 5-7)
Wednesday 6:30-7:00 Recital Tap with Ms. Kasie (ages 5-7)
Our 5-7 year old classes are eligible for 2-Way and 3-Way Combo discounts. Please see pricing in the registration portal.
Again, this coming season we will continue offering our Recital Hip-Hop Classes!

The ages 8-11 classes listed above are eligible for 2-Way and 3-Way Combo Discounts!
Also on Monday we will offer the following ages 12 & up classes, which are eligible for 2-Way and 3-Way Combo Discounts!
Monday 7:00-7:30pm Recital Hip-Hop (ages 12 and Up) with Miss Wolfe
Monday 7:30-8:00pm Recital Jazz (ages 12 and Up) with Miss Maddy
Monday 8:00-8:30pm Recital Lyrical/Contemporary (ages 12 and Up) with Miss Maddy
Gymnastics Classes are as follows:
On Tuesdays we will be offering 2 different gymnastics classes with Miss Sabrina.
Tuesday 7:30-8:00pm will be Gymnastic Class for technique ONLY (no costume or choreography). This class is for beginner/intermediate level gymnasts ages 9 and up. It will include Stretch, Strengthening, Conditioning as well as more basic gymnastic skills such as backbends, cartwheels, front walkovers and intro to aerials. This class will be limited to 12 participants.
Tuesday 8:00-8:30pm will be Gymnastic Class for technique ONLY (no costume or choreography). This class is for intermediate/advanced level gymnasts ages 12 and up. This class will include Stretch, Strengthening, Conditioning as well as more advanced gymnastic skills such as back handsprings, aerial and back tuck. Any student registering for this class must already have their back walk-over and other advanced skills to enroll. This class will be limited to 12 participants. Finally, we are excited to offer our NEW Petite Competition Classes! These classes are for dancers ages 6-8 who are interested in Competition. These classes are for students with at least 2 years of dance experience or more and/or have shown the ability for the next level. If your dancer has an interest, you may speak with your teacher for more information. For those students we have recognized as having the potential for the competition level your teacher will be contacting you. If you are new to JDC and interested in learning more about these classes please email us at jdcdanceoffice@gmail.com. Our New Petite Competition Dancers will attend 1 Competition during the 2024/2025 Dance Season. The Competition will be in April of 2025.

Meet our Class of 2024!
Every dancer is special at JDC, but for the 6 dancers below they have reached a milestone in their life. They are seniors graduating high school this year and preparing for the next chapter in their life. Before they leave us, we want to take a moment to recognize each one of them.
Congratulations to our Seniors... Emily Bagan, Lily Barnes, William Ives, Mimi Loftus-Graney, Madden Robbins and Madison Thornhill!!

Emily Bagan
At what age did you begin dancing?
I started dancing when I was 3 years old.
What genre of dance is your favorite and why?
My favorite genre of dance is definitely tap. I have always loved how the taps and the steps match with the music perfectly. I also love the way I can change the rhythms and hear the sound of it under my feet!
What have you learned from JDC?
From JDC, I’ve learned how to balance my time between dance and other aspects of my life. I’ve learned what it means to be a good teammate and the importance of working together to reach a common goal.
What are you going to miss most about JDC?
I’m going to miss the connections I made with everybody here at the studio. The teachers and students always made me feel at home. Dance has always been a constant in my life and I will miss it very much!
What are your plans after high school?
After high school, I plan to attend college to pursue a career in biomedical engineering.
What are your hopes for the future?
In the future, I hope to finish school and take up any opportunities that come my way. I want to try new things, travel, and meet new people!
Lily Barnes
At what age did you begin dancing?
I started dancing at the age of 2 ½
What genre of dance is your favorite and why?
My favorite genre is contemporary because it is slower paced and fun to connect to the music.
What have you learned from JDC?
At JDC I have learned that I love to dance and the importance of team work and dedication.
What are you going to miss most about JDC?
I will miss my teachers that I have worked with, but most of all I will miss my late night solo and chats with Miss Maddy.
What are your plans after high school?
I will be attending SUNY Cobleskill in the fall for early childhood education.
What are your hopes for the future?
I will be attending SUNY Cobleskill in the fall for early childhood education.
Williams Ives
At what age did you begin dancing?
I began dancing when I was 11 years old.
What genre of dance is your favorite and why?
My favorite genre is hip hop, because it can be very expressive and high energy!
What have you learned from JDC?
I have learned how to be a good friend and how to dance to my fullest potential.
What are you going to miss most about JDC?
I will miss everything!
What are your plans after high school?
I plan on working in a metaphysical store and write books.
What are your hopes for the future?
I hope in 10 years to live in a small apartment in the city where I can just be myself.
Mimi Loftus-Graney
At what age did you begin dancing?
I began dancing when I was 10 years old.
What genre of dance is your favorite and why?
My favorite genre is hip hop because it gets my energy high and forces me outside of my comfort zone.
What have you learned from JDC?
JDC taught me the importance of dedication and teamwork. I have learned how to be a team player in every aspect. During my time at JDC, I have also learned my personal strengths and aspirations that I will apply to my life ahead of me.
What are you going to miss most about JDC?
I will miss the friends I have made along the way, they will forever be my family. I will also miss all of the laughs and smiles that JDC brought me. For the past seven years of my life, dance has been an escape for me.
What are your plans after high school?
After high school, I plan to attend Skidmore College, earn a degree, and travel abroad.
What are your hopes for the future?
My hopes for the future are to become successful in the path I choose in life, travel the world, and live my life to the fullest.
Madden Robbins
At what age did you begin dancing?
I starting dancing when I was 6 years old.
What genre of dance is your favorite and why?
My favorite genre is lyrical because not only am I able to put so much emotion into the style, but I am also able to form a bond and connect with my teammates both in class and on stage.
What have you learned from JDC?
At JDC, I have learned the importance of sticking to a commitment and I learned how to work and cooperate with others.
What are you going to miss most about JDC?
What I’m going to miss most about JDC is seeing the people I have seen weekly for the past several years. My teammates and teachers at the studio quickly became a second family and leaving will definitely be difficult and take time to adjust to.
What are your plans after high school?
My plans after high school are to attend college for at least 4 years while majoring in Kinesiology to hopefully become a Physical Therapist.
What are your hopes for the future?
Madison Thornhill
At what age did you begin dancing?
I began dancing at the age of four.
What genre of dance is your favorite and why?
My favorite genre is tap because I enjoy the different sounds I can make with my feet.
What have you learned from JDC?
I have learned the importance of teamwork, dedication, and how to push myself to do the best I can.
What are you going to miss most about JDC?
I’m going to miss my friends and my teachers the most. It will be hard not coming into class and seeing them every week next year.
What are your plans after high school?
My plans after high school are to study psychology.
What are your hopes for the future?
My hopes for the future are to graduate from college and have a successful career that I enjoy.
Our 2021 Dance Recital was held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds! It was an amazing day filled with love, laughter, tears of joy and most of all huge smiles from each and every dancers as they performed their incredible routines for their friends and families. Thank you to all our dance families for another amazing year!!

Our mission is to provide children a positive and encouraging environment that will develop their talent, self-esteem, creativity, communication and collaboration skills. Our motto is “For the Love of Dance” and our goal is to instill the “Love of Dance” in all our students.
